Meta Data Objects

CityScape 1.7 introduces the ability to create or import meta data objects to be placed in scenes and exported with the world. Objects hold values defined by users and use a graphical interface for modifying parameters. Meta data objects can be placed as points, circles, or polygons, and are managed in the prop library.

Common Meta Data Object Applications

  • Camera Placement
  • Spawn Points
  • AI Paths
  • Structure Meta Data (building height, number of stories, construction date, etc.)
  • Road Meta Data (road name, intersection type, speed limit, etc.)

Meta data objects also benefit from Active Adjustment, intuitively moving with changes to the geography or road networks in the world.
