3ds max

How to import x-plane model into 3ds max or other 3D software ? I've been wondering if anyone knows how to take an airplane from X-plane, and use that model in a 3D software (3ds max or other) to create controlled 3D animations with it. Anyone have any ideas ?

Hi Barnaly,

Exporting x-plane model would be a feature with x-plane. We don't have much experience working with x-plane at PixelActive, so our advice is limited. Have you searched "3ds max" in their forums? http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?act=idx

You could also try some google searches.

Once you have the file exported to 3ds max or Collada, you can import those airplanes into CityScape as props to place in the scene. We recently created a video of prop importing that you can find on our YouTube channel.
